The GT Sonic VGT 6250 tool washer is an ergonomic, compact device designed for effective cleaning and disinfection of nail master's working tools. The scope of the device includes beauty salons, manicure rooms, hairdressers, cosmetology centers. Thanks to the universal design, the model will successfully fit into any interior.

The ultrasonic sterilizer is made in a high-quality case made of white ABS plastic. It has a neat rounded shape, compact and does not take up much space. The equipment weighs 2.5 kg. Lightweight lid with comfortable handles prevents excess debris from entering the disinfectant solution. It has a transparent surface, which makes it possible to follow the process and see the contents. The lid closes tightly.

Rubberized feet add stability to the device and do not scratch the work surface. At the bottom there is a factory sticker with indications of the main technical parameters and a serial number.

There are ventilation holes on the sides that act as a cooling system. On the bottom left is a slot dedicated to the detachable power cord. The cord is long enough - 1.5 meters, which allows you to place the equipment at a convenient distance from the outlet. Euro plug does not require additional adapters.

The control panel is located on the front. It consists of five buttons, two indicators and a digital display.

Control buttons:

  • ON/OFF: turn on/off;
  • ULTRASONIC: starts the cleaning process;
  • DEGAS: degassing function. To clean heavily soiled or greasy objects made from materials such as silver, copper or brass, it is necessary to add chemical solutions to the water. They can form a large number of small droplets that take a long time to dissolve in water. Additional added water may cause bubbles to form on the tank walls. This will reduce the cleaning effect at first. It is the degassing function that copes with this problem.
  • TIMER: Set the timer. The timer can be set to 5 cycles: 90s - 180s - 280s - 380s - 480s. Each of the cycles can last a different time.
  • TC: temperature control. When this function is enabled, the blue indicator lights up. When the water temperature reaches 60±3°C, the overheating protection indicator lights up red, the heating function is turned off automatically. When the temperature drops to 55±2°C, the liquid will start heating again automatically. The blue indicator will light up again until the solution is heated to 60±3°C. For safety reasons, after 45 minutes of heating operation, the function will automatically turn off completely and the indicator will turn off.

Operation indicators:

  • lamp on the left: indicates the status of the instrument. Ultrasonic (Lighten) - glows green during normal operation of the washing units, Degas (Flash) - flashes when the degassing function is on;
  • light bulb on the right: is an indicator of heating. Heat (Blue) - lights up in blue, indicates the normal operation of the heating function, Protect (Red) - lights up in red when the temperature reaches 60 ± 3 ° C (overheating protection function).

The LED display helps to set the necessary time parameters and displays the cleaning time.

The inner tank of the GT Sonic is made of SUS304 stainless steel. Its volume is 2500 ml. On the wall there are marks of minimum and maximum filling. Inside there is a special plastic basket in which items are placed. Thanks to this, things do not come into contact with the metal bottom and the formation of scratches and scuffs on both surfaces is prevented. The basket has metal handles, by which it can be removed from the tank or hooked onto the sides of the sterilizer.

The principle of cleaning in an ultrasonic cleaner

Ultrasonic cleaning is based on the cavitation effect caused by the vibration of high frequency ultrasonic waves in a liquid. Microscopic bubbles form. They burst, causing cavitation, which creates an intense cleaning of the surface of the object. The bubbles are small enough to penetrate microscopic crevices, cleaning them thoroughly.

Ultrasonic cleaning is extremely effective in removing a variety of contaminants that require tedious manual cleaning. It is used on a relatively wide range of tools and mechanical parts, returning them to near-new condition without damaging particularly delicate parts.

What items can be cleaned in an ultrasonic bath

  • Jewelry: rings, necklaces, earrings, bracelets, etc.
  • Personal items: glasses, watch bands, razor heads, diving watches, combs, dentures, etc.
  • Dental instruments.
  • Laboratory items: test tubes, beakers, flasks, etc.
  • Details from pistols, bullets.
  • Bearings, gears, valves, fuel injectors, etc.
  • Utensils: knives, forks, spoons, cups, etc.
  • Children's things: toys, speech therapy tools, etc.

Cleaning agent:

do not use flammable or explosive agents; do not use aggressive or abrasive products; special detergents should be used for cleaning difficult or stubborn dirt, such as tar, rust, wax, etc., which cannot be removed with water or an all-purpose cleaner; you can use a disinfectant solution.

Instructions for using the ultrasonic cleaner GT Sonic VGT 6250:

1. Install the sink in a convenient location. She must be stable. Plug the power cord into the appropriate socket (it must be tight). Open the lid and fill the tank with water (disinfectant/cleaner) observing the minimum and maximum volume marks. 

Attention! Do not run the washer without liquid, as this may damage the appliance.

2. Place the items in the plastic basket. Put it in the tank. Items must be completely submerged in water. Make sure that the fluid level does not exceed the maximum mark.

3. Close the lid. Connect the equipment to the mains. Press the ON/OFF button. The digital display will light up.

4. Press the TIMER button to set the time. Each repeated press will increase the set time.

5. Press the ULTRASONIC button to start working. The indicator on the left will turn green. To stop working, press the button again. The indicator on the left will turn off.

If you press the TC button after the time has been selected and only then start the job by pressing the ULTRASONIC, cleaning will not start. Set the time again and press ULTRASONIC.

A soft buzzing sound should be heard during operation. It means that the device is working.

6. To start the degassing function, press the DEGAS button (intermittent operation of the ultrasonic source to quickly remove air from the liquid). The ultrasonic bath runs for 5 seconds and stops for 2 seconds, the indicator on the left turns green and flashes. This process is repeated. To stop, press DEGAS again.

7. Press TC to start the heating function. The blue indicator on the right lights up. Press the button again to stop heating. The indicator will turn off. The maximum heating temperature is 60°C.

To avoid heating without water caused by incorrect operation, the heater will turn off automatically after 120 seconds. It won't turn on even if you try to start it.

Unplug the appliance from the mains for at least 15 minutes. Make sure the tank is filled with water. Connect the appliance to the mains and restart the heating function.

8. When the cleaning process is completed, unplug the sink, open the lid and remove the items. Pour out the water so that it does not get on the control panel or power cord. Clean and wipe the reservoir.

Care and cleaning of the ultrasonic sterilizer:

Be sure to unplug the appliance before cleaning.

Never immerse the sterilizer, unplugged or plugged in, in water or any other liquid for cleaning purposes.

Do not use aggressive detergents or sharp objects to clean the sinks.

Use a cloth to clean and dry the instrument.

Make sure there is no water left in the tank. This will help to avoid limescale formation.

Store the equipment in a cool and dry place.

Do not leave within reach of children.
