The Germix SM 504 mini ultraviolet sterilizer is an indispensable device for hairdressing salons, nail salons and beauty parlors. Due to its appearance, it can easily be confused with the larger Germix UV SB1002/YM 9001A, which is 9cm wider, 1cm taller and 7cm thicker (39x23x19 vs. 30x16x18). Another difference between the 504th model and the 1002nd is the lack of a tray installation sensor in the first one and the location of the power button.

It is used to disinfect products made of plastic, glass and other materials that cannot be exposed to high temperatures: brushes, brushes, sponges, combs, as well as hairdressing scissors to avoid blunting the cutting edge.

The ultraviolet sterilizer is equipped with a 6 W germicidal lamp. Ultraviolet rays have a great bactericidal ability and are detrimental to the vegetative forms of most types of viruses and bacteria, but are not able to destroy persistent spore forms. Therefore, in beauty parlors and clinics, such devices are used for bactericidal treatment of accessories and storage of sterilized instruments.

The power cord exits from the back. Its length is 1 meter, which is enough for convenient placement on the desktop relative to the outlet. Euro plug eliminates the need for additional adapters.

To disinfect the instruments, it is enough to place them inside the device, close the compartment, press the power button, and remove it after the session is over.

Instructions for using the Germix UV cabinet:

  1. Install the machine in a convenient location. He must be stable.
  2. Take out the tray. Place pre-washed, cleaned and disinfected tools in it. Arrange the items so that they do not overlap. Push the container tightly inward.
  3. Check that the power button is set to 0. Connect the device to a 220-240 V power supply. The plug must be firmly inserted.
  4. Turn on the sterilizer by switching the button to I. The light will turn on, indicating the start of work. The lamp will not light until the tray is pushed in firmly. The recommended sterilization time is 30-45 minutes. After 1/2 time has passed, turn the items over to the other side and continue sterilizing.
  5. Remove tools immediately before use. When the tray is pulled out, the light turns off automatically. This function is designed to protect the eyes from the effects of direct ultraviolet rays. To turn off the sterilizer, toggle the button to position 0.
  6. If the appliance is not going to be used in the near future, unplug it from the mains.

Usage Notes:

  • freshly cleaned wet instruments must not be placed in the UV cabinet. They must be dry;
  • do not look at direct UV rays when the cabinet is open;
  • do not leave the equipment in a place accessible to children without supervision;
  • do not use in a room with high humidity;
  • The device must not come into contact with water or be located near an open flame.
