The HEPA filter is a replaceable hood component made of pressed paper. It measures 13.3x16.5x1 cm. When dirty, it should be cleaned by gently shaking it over a trash can. You can also use a vacuum cleaner or a soft-bristled brush. If desired, it can be rinsed under running water, but it must not be soaked. After that, it must be completely dried and used only when dry.

The Ulka HEPA filter has a service life of 2-3 months. After that, it must be replaced with a new one.

  1. Regularly check the condition and cleanliness of the HEPA filter, removing accumulated dust and sawdust particles to maintain the efficiency of the hood.
  2. Maintenance: The HEPA filter is made of pressed paper and is designed for 2-3 months of operation. To keep it in shape, not deforming and not losing its throughput capacity, it should not be soaked or shaken sharply. During soaking, the cellulose fibers swell and the pore structure is disturbed.
  3. After completing the work with the client, the filter should be carefully shaken out over a trash can. To remove any remaining dust, you can use a vacuum cleaner at low power, using a special small nozzle, or use a brush.
  4. The filter can be washed under running water, provided that it is in contact with it for a minimum time. After washing, it must be completely dried. It can only be installed in the hood when dry.
