Jerden Proff gel polishes belong to the classic system, consisting of three phases: base, color coating and top. They are applied using the traditional technique, which consists of the following steps:

1. Preparation of the nail plates, degreasing, dehydration, application of an acid-free primer.

2. Application of the base (selected in accordance with the condition and characteristics of the nails) and its polymerization.

3. Application of gel polish in one or two layers. Each layer is polymerized in a lamp (UV 36 W or LED).

4. Applying the top coat and its polymerization.

Removing the gel polish can be done either with a milling cutter or by applying liquid to remove the gel polish.
