Types of sharpening and cutting technique JAGUAR scissors are distinguished by 2 types of sharpening and 2 corresponding types of cutting.

Classic sharpening. one cutting blade is sharpened and has a polished cutting edge, a transverse micro-notch is applied to the second blade after sharpening the cutting edge. These scissors are designed for accurate straight classic cuts and are not intended for cutting with the "slicing" technique. The notch on the canvas prevents the hair from slipping when cut. Notched scissors are preferred by classic male craftsmen working in a classic style. Recently, scissors with a classic notch have been in high demand among barbers.

Slicing sharpening. Both cutting edges are sharpened and polished. There are no transverse notches. This type of sharpening is more versatile and is designed for all types of cuts. That is why this type of sharpening is used in the vast majority of JAGUAR models.
