Staleks Pro EXPERT DUO diamond cutter, blue-green cone, diameter 2.5 mm/working part 8 mm (FA70BG025/8)
Diamond cutter Staleks truncated cone DUO EXPERT with blue-green notch for hardware manicure and pedicure is a medium-coarse abrasiveness tool with double diamond coating, designed for processing outer rough skin. The truncated cone with medium-coarse hardness allows you to work on artificial surfaces, give shape, and grind cracks in a pedicure. Suitable for experienced nail technicians.
The cone cutter for manicure is made by double spraying of diamond chips on a metal blank made of medical grade stainless steel. First, coarse diamond grains are applied, then the gaps between the coarse chips are evenly filled with medium crystals, densely covering the entire working area. The chips on the blank are fixed as a result of the galvanic process: a thin layer of nickel holds the diamond grains, making the connection strong and durable.
This spraying technology makes the tool hard and wear-resistant, eliminates unevenness on the surface of the working part. The DUO hardware manicure attachment will last longer due to the double spraying of diamond chips and the fact that the diamond grain is evenly applied, without gaps and sticking in one place.
Staleks diamond cone truncated cutter for manicure and pedicure DUO EXPERT d 2.5 mm medium-coarse performs:
- treatment of external areas of the skin, excluding the surface of the nail;
- grinding of extended nails;
- shaping the free edge of the nail;
- correction of the length of the nail plate;
- opening and polishing cracks in pedicure.
The shank diameter is standard for a milling machine – 2.36 mm +0/-0.016 mm. The maximum permissible rotation speed of the diamond attachment is up to 30,000 rpm. It is important to follow the recommendations for the number of revolutions for each type of cutter and procedure – working at high speeds can cause the cutter to overheat and injure the client.
Optimal speed for performing manicure procedures:
- Natural nails and skin, thousand rpm: 5-10 - filing, reducing thickness, grinding, polishing; 10-15 - removing cuticles, grinding side ridges.
- Artificial nails, thousand rpm: 15-20 - thickness removal, shaping; 20-25 - coating removal, design; 25-30 - free edge formation; more than 30 - individual types of design, other work.
- Pedicure, thousand rpm: 5-15 - removal of corns, skin polishing; 15-25 - cleaning cracks, removal of superficial calluses; 25-30 and more - work with core calluses, other types of work.

- When working, use gloves, safety glasses or a shield.
Cleaning diamond bits
Staleks can withstand all types of disinfection and sterilization (cold or hot).
- Remove the handle of the device immediately after use. Using a soft brush, carefully remove any remaining nail dust and other dirt. Try not to scratch the surface of the nozzle to avoid damage.
- To remove light dirt from the cutter for grinding the skin around the nail and other types of attachments, it is not recommended to wash them with running water using a brush, so as not to splash drops with possible pathogens.
- Disinfection: Prepare a disinfectant solution and place the attachments in it, following the manufacturer's instructions for time and concentration. It is recommended to choose products that destroy hepatitis B, C and dermatomycosis viruses.
- Use a container with warm soapy water and a mild detergent. Dip the cutter in the solution for 10-15 minutes to soften the remaining dirt. You can use an ultrasonic bath for a deeper pre-sterilization cleaning.
- Sterilization. Place the tips in sterilization bags intended for tendon or autoclave containers to avoid damage and ensure proper air or steam circulation. at 180°C for 60 minutes, 160°C for 150 minutes.
- Autoclave sterilization time: at 120°C, 1.1 atm. pressure for 45 minutes; 132°C, 2 atm. pressure - 20 minutes. After autoclave sterilization, it is recommended to leave the instrument for 1 hour to cool down, so that sudden temperature changes do not damage the nozzle.
- Regularly check the autoclave or tendon performance with biological indicators to ensure sterilization is effective.
Storage of diamond bits
- Store the attachments clean and dry in a sterile, closed container. Choose a dry storage location to prevent rust and mold.
- Avoid getting moisture, dust, and abrasives between the working surfaces of the cutters.
When to change the tool
If diamond bits are used, stored and cleaned correctly, their functionality will remain for 3-4 months. The metal will not be covered with corrosion, and the diamond coating will be uniform, without gaps. There should be no burrs or chips on the tip of sharp shapes.
When it's time to change attachments:
- The working area has lost its abrasiveness, has become smooth in places or has become clogged with material. Chips have formed at the tip of sharp shapes.
- The material takes longer to remove than usual, you want to press more on the cutter to get results.
- The attachment vibrates and causes a burning sensation when removing the coating.
- Curvature of the nozzle. Cutters can become curved as a result of falls, long-term use, and be destroyed by aggressive disinfectants and high temperatures during sterilization. A curved cutter for filing a natural nail, removing a coating and other procedures hits the client's nail hard, overheats due to vibrations, which reduces the service life of the device handle.
