Our advantages

Carbide flame cutter blue Staleks PRO EXPERT is a solid metal tool of medium abrasiveness and medium hardness. The working part has medium straight-transverse and cross-shaped notches. Carbide attachments are distinguished by the fact that they cut the material, creating chips, not dust.

The flame-shaped cutter is suitable for correcting thin artificial material, finishing delamination in the side ridges. Staleks PRO EXPERT flame blue (blue notch) gel removal cutter, size 5x13.5 mm, carefully cuts the material and leaves a smooth surface. In pedicure/podology, it is used to treat keratinized areas of the skin, clean calluses and corns.

The TVS flame cutter with blue notch Staleks PRO EXPERT 5 mm has medium abrasiveness and is suitable for quickly removing gel polish coatings, treating calluses and nails with fungus (onychomycosis). During operation, the cutter gently moves along the edge of the nail, without sudden movements and prolonged exposure to the same place. Carefully cuts the material, leaving a smooth surface.

The shank diameter is standard for a milling machine – 2.36 mm +/- 0.016 mm. The maximum permissible rotation speed of a carbide attachment with a diameter of 5 mm is up to 18,000 rpm. It is important to follow the recommendations for the number of revolutions for each type of cutter and procedure – working at high speeds can cause the cutter to overheat and injure the client.

Optimal speed for performing manicure procedures:

  • Natural nails and skin, thousand rpm: 5-10 - filing, reducing thickness, grinding, polishing; 10-15 - removing cuticles, grinding side ridges, cleaning pockets.
  • Artificial nails, thousand rpm: 15-20 - thickness removal, shaping; 20-25 - coating removal, design; 25-30 - free edge formation; more than 30 - individual types of design, other work.
  • Pedicure, thousand rpm: 5-15 - removal of corns, skin polishing; 15-25 - cleaning cracks, removal of superficial calluses; 25-30 and more - work with core calluses, other types of work.

Experienced manicurists and pedicurists are recommended to buy a medium-hardness gel polish remover because it is safe when used correctly. The tool with a high-quality diamond coating is resistant to corrosion, can be sterilized and disinfected in various ways, except for the use of disinfectant solutions based on active oxygen.

  1. Choose a tool based on the type of area being treated: a cutter for removing calluses, cutting cuticles, grinding, cutting lengths, etc. It is important to follow the recommended number of revolutions for a specific cutter to avoid overheating the tool and injuring the client.
  2. Do not throw or hit the attachment - this may cause the rotation center to shift and lead to defects. A deformed cutter cannot be used.
  3. Check the callus cutter and other attachments regularly to ensure they are correctly centered, either visually or with a special tool.
  4. When working, use gloves, safety glasses or a shield.

Cleaning carbide bits

Staleks Pro withstands all types of disinfection and sterilization (cold or hot).

  • Remove the handle of the device immediately after use. Using a soft brush, carefully remove any remaining nail dust and other dirt. Try not to scratch the surface of the nozzle to avoid damage.
  • To remove light dirt from the attachment on the milling cutter for removing gel polish and other cutters, it is not recommended to wash them with running water using a brush, so as not to spread splashes with possible pathogens.
  • Disinfection: Prepare a disinfectant solution and place the attachments according to the manufacturer's instructions for time and concentration. It is recommended to choose products that destroy hepatitis B, C and dermatomycosis viruses.
  • Use a container with warm soapy water and a mild detergent. Soak the nail drill bit and other types of attachments in the solution for 10-15 minutes to soften any remaining dirt. You can use an ultrasonic bath for a deeper pre-sterilization cleaning.
  • Sterilization. Place the tips in sterilization bags intended for tendon or autoclave containers to avoid damage and ensure proper air or steam circulation. Sterilize at 180°C for 60 minutes, 160°C for 150 minutes.
  • Autoclave sterilization time: at 120°C, 1.1 atm. pressure for 45 minutes; 132°C, 2 atm. pressure - 20 minutes. After autoclave sterilization, it is recommended to leave the instrument for 1 hour to cool down, so that sudden temperature changes do not damage the nozzle.
  • Regularly check the autoclave or tendon performance with biological indicators to ensure sterilization is effective.

Storage of carbide bits

  • Keep the attachments clean and dry in a sterile, closed container. Choose a dry storage location to prevent rust and mold.
  • Avoid getting moisture, dust, loose and abrasive substances between the working surfaces of the cutter.

When to change the tool

If carbide bits are used, stored and cleaned correctly, their functionality will remain for up to 4-6 months. The metal will not be covered with corrosion, and there will be no burrs or chips on the tip of sharp shapes.

When it's time to change attachments:

  1. The working area has lost its abrasiveness, has become smooth in places or has become clogged with material. Chips have formed at the tip of sharp shapes.
  2. The material takes longer to remove than usual, you want to press more on the cutter to get results.
  3. The attachment vibrates and causes a burning sensation when removing the coating.
  4. Curvature of the nozzle. The TVS cutter can become curved as a result of falls, long-term use, and be destroyed by aggressive disinfectants and high temperatures during sterilization. A curved nozzle knocks on the client's nail, becomes excessively hot due to vibration, which reduces the service life of the device handle.
