Carbide end mill for left-handers Staleks Pro EXPERT blue cone, diameter 6 mm / working part 14 mm (FT73B060/14)
Staleks Pro carbide cutter cone blue notch for left-handers for hardware manicure and pedicure is an all-metal tool of medium abrasiveness and medium hardness. The working part has a medium standard cross-shaped notch. Carbide attachments are distinguished by the fact that they cut the material, creating chips, not dust.
The cone-shaped cutter is suitable for correcting artificial nails, removing artificial material, treating the skin of the feet and pads of the toes. In manicure, it is used to correct thin artificial material, remove build-ups, and treat detachment in the lateral ridges. In pedicure/podology, this attachment can be used to treat corns and calluses. During operation, the attachment moves gently along the edge of the nail, without sudden movements or prolonged exposure to the same place.
The shank diameter is standard for a milling machine – 2.36 mm. The maximum permissible value of the rotation speed of the carbide attachment is up to 6000 rpm. It is important to adhere to the recommendations for the number of revolutions for a certain type of cutters and procedures, since working at high speeds can cause overheating of the tool and injury to the client.
Optimal speed for performing manicure procedures:
- Natural nails and skin, thousand rpm: 5-10 - filing, reducing thickness, grinding, polishing; 10-15 - removing cuticles, grinding side ridges, cleaning pockets.
- Artificial nails, thousands of rpm: 15-20 - thickness removal, shaping; 20-25 - coating removal, design; 25-30 - free edge formation; more than 30 - individual types of design, other work.
- Pedicure, thousand rpm: 5-15 – removal of calluses, skin polishing; 15-25 – cleaning cracks, removal of superficial calluses; 25-30 and more – work with core calluses, other types of work.
The blue notch cutter is recommended for experienced nail artists because it is safe when used correctly. The nozzle is corrosion-resistant and can be sterilized and disinfected in various ways, except for the use of disinfectant solutions based on active oxygen.

Staleks About the TVS milling cutter, medium-hard cone EXPERT 6 x 14 mm: application
- Choose a tool based on the type of area being treated: for lifting the cuticle, filing the length, grinding the skin around the nail, etc. It is also important to follow the recommended number of revolutions for a specific cutter to avoid overheating the tool and injuring the client.
- Do not throw or hit the attachment - this may cause the rotation center to shift and cause defects. A deformed cuticle cutter is not used.
- Check the milling cutter regularly for correct alignment, either visually or with a special tool.
- When working, use gloves, safety glasses or a shield.
Cleaning carbide bits
Staleks Pro TVS milling cutter, medium hardness cone EXPERT 6x14mm, withstands all types of disinfection and sterilization (cold or hot).
- Remove the handle of the device immediately after use. Using a soft brush, carefully remove any remaining nail dust and other dirt. Try not to scratch the surface of the cutter to avoid damage.
- To remove light dirt, it is not recommended to rinse the nozzle with running water using a brush, so as not to spread splashes with possible pathogens.
- Disinfection: Prepare a disinfectant solution and dip the attachments according to the manufacturer's instructions for time and concentration. It is recommended to choose products that destroy hepatitis B, C and dermatomycosis viruses.
- Use a container with warm soapy water and a mild detergent. Dip the burs in the solution for 10-15 minutes to soften the remaining dirt. You can use an ultrasonic bath for deep pre-sterilization cleaning.
- Sterilization. Place the tips in sterilization bags intended for tendon or autoclave containers to avoid damage and ensure proper air or steam circulation. at 180°C for 60 minutes, 160°C for 150 minutes.
- Autoclave sterilization time: at 120°C, 1.1 atm. pressure for 45 minutes; 132°C, 2 atm. pressure - 20 minutes. After autoclave sterilization, it is recommended to leave the instrument for 1 hour to cool down, so that sudden temperature changes do not damage the nozzle.
- Regularly check the autoclave or tendon performance with biological indicators to ensure sterilization is effective.
Storage of carbide bits
- Keep the attachments clean and dry in a sterile, closed container. Choose a dry storage location to prevent rust and mold.
- Avoid getting moisture, dust, loose and abrasive substances between the working surfaces of the cutter.
When to change the tool
If carbide bits are used, stored and cleaned correctly, their functionality will remain for up to 4-6 months. The metal will not be covered with corrosion, and there will be no burrs or chips on the tip of sharp shapes.
- The working area has lost its abrasiveness, has become smooth in places or has become clogged with material. Chips have formed at the tip of sharp shapes.
- The material takes longer to remove than usual, you want to press more on the cutter to get results.
- The attachment vibrates and causes a burning sensation when removing the coating.
- Curvature of the nozzle. The TVS cutter can become curved as a result of falls, long-term use, and be destroyed by aggressive disinfectants and high temperatures during sterilization. A curved nozzle knocks on the client's nail, becomes excessively hot due to vibration, which reduces the service life of the device handle.
