Properties of Surfachlor tablets:

The agent is available in the form of white tablets, weighing 3.2 ± 0.2 g, which dissolve well in water (within 2-3 minutes) or granules. When dissolving one tablet or 2.68 g of granules in water, 1.6 ± 0.1 g of active chlorine (50%) is released. tablets of the agent may have distributive notches on the surface, which allow the tablet to be divided when preparing working solutions. Aqueous solutions of the product are transparent, colorless, with a slight smell of chlorine, pH 6.0-7.0. according to the needs of the client, the product may have a slight smell of lemon or sea breeze

Working solutions of the product have anti-corrosion, stabilizing properties, soften water, have wetting, deodorizing, emulsifying, washing and bleaching properties, do not damage objects made of corrosion-resistant metal, rubber, polymeric materials, silicone, plastics, wood, tiles, faience and the surface of medical devices , apparatus and equipment with paintwork, electroplating and polymer coating, do not fix organic pollution on the surface of medical products, are well washed off, do not leave plaque on the surfaces of objects, and can be processed.

They remove mechanical, protein, fatty contaminants, blood residues, drug residues from external surfaces, internal channels and cavities of medical devices, homogenize sputum and other secretions.

The agent is non-flammable, explosion-proof, compatible with soap, sulphated oils, anionic surfactants, amphoteric and non-ionic substances, alkali metal salts of inorganic and organic acids.

Disinfection with Surfachlor is carried out by various methods

• wiping - a cloth soaked in a solution can be used to treat all surfaces in the room (walls, floors, furniture, etc.) and household items of patients. Alternatively, the solution can be sprayed directly onto the surface and then wiped off. The consumption rate of the product when wiping is 100 ml / m2;
• immersion in a solution - patient care items (heaters, thermometers, etc.), medical instruments are subject to this method of processing. After disinfection, it is necessary to rinse the items with clean water;
• irrigation - spraying the product with a spray gun on the surface.

Storage of Surfachlor tablets:

• Surfachlor is stored in the manufacturer's container in covered, unheated warehouses, protected from moisture and direct sunlight. Storage temperature 20-30?С.
• Surfachlor retains its properties and can be used within 3 years from the date of production indicated on the package.
• The shelf life of the working solution of the disinfectant is 7 days if stored in a container with a tightly closed lid. For disinfection of medical purposes, working solutions can be used repeatedly during their shelf life if there is no change in the appearance of the solution (no cloudiness, flakes, sediment, etc.) and with positive results of chemical-analytical control of solutions for the content of active substances.
