UDC ** - lens coating
UDC coatings are a technological breakthrough for obtaining the highest quality lens treatment against fogging and scratches.

UDC coating on the inside of the lenses to prevent fogging, and on the outside there is multi-layer protection against scratches.

We all know that lenses never get scratched on the inside or fog up on the outside. Therefore, it is clear why there is a different coating on different sides. This makes the glasses more complex and expensive to produce (layers are applied multiple times to the lenses separately when it would normally be done by spraying once), although the final result is worth it.
While normally meeting the EN166 certificate, anti-fog lenses need to be clean for 8 seconds, with UDC coating the lenses stay clean for more than 30 seconds.
