  1. TVP - to control the critical parameters of sterilization with a degree of dryness of saturated water vapor "alpha" from 0.85 to 0.99 in sterilizers and is a carrier (rectangular, adhesive strip) with a spot of a thermo-temporal indicator applied to it, changing its color after a proper sterilization mode with a comparison standard .
  2. Scope of indicators
    • monitor the effectiveness of the sterilization process;
    • provide a guarantee of the quality of sterilization;
    • provide operational visual control of compliance with critical sterilization parameters;
    • allow to identify non-compliance with the specified values ​​of critical sterilization parameters (ineffective sterilization), which can lead to the use of non-sterile products.
  3. The critical parameters of indicators for air sterilization are the sterilization temperature and the sterilization exposure time.
  4. The critical parameters of indicators for steam sterilization are the sterilization temperature, the sterilization exposure time and the presence of saturated steam.
  5. The final color is changed and achieved only in an atmosphere of a sterilizing agent (steam, hot air) when exposed to a certain temperature for a certain time.
  6. On the reverse side they have a sticky base (adhesive layer covered with protective paper), divided into two parts for use outside and inside.
  7. External indicators are attached with a sticky layer on the surface of the packages used (paper, metal, glass, etc.) and removed later, while internal indicators are placed inside the package with sterilized materials, regardless of its type (paper or plastic bag, metal container, etc.)
  8. The delivery set of indicators (1000 pieces) is provided with instructions for use and a sterilizer operation control log (Form 257/u).
  9. To facilitate visual control, the indicator has a clear contrasting color transition.
